We had a fantastic time in the villa at Sanxenxo. The pool was great for kids as it had a gate that could be locked which gave us piece of mind. The bbq set up also was very impressive and great for big family dinners.The canelas beach was also only5 minutes walk and it is one of the most beautiful beaches with a stunning view of hillside headlands around it. There were plenty of rooms for our 3 families. The kitchen was a little small which made it a little difficult for preparing meals but not too bad. The garage downstairs was great for the kids to play in. The bikes were helpful too for getting around town but a bigger adult size bike would be helpful as the bikes were mainly for kids. Restaurants were also within walking distance, the only drawback is that in Galicia the siesta means restaurants close between 4 and 8pm. Asun was extremely helpful and it was great to have her local knowledge of where to go to eat and for day trips. The amount of parking spaces was also plenty. Patricia was also very helpful and made our trip to Cies islands much easier as the process is quite bureaucratic and I'm not sure we could have done it ourselves. We got a little unlucky with the weather and would probably go a week or 2 later next time. We would definitely go again and recommend it to families. I heard about galicia holiday through Google (about the 5th page of a search for family holidays in Europe) I would like to receive news of discounts.
