Camino de Santiago - Last 100km to Santiago

For many pilgrims Sarria is where most pilgrims began their march. There are several reasons, some of which may be its strategic location, its good transport links, because it has a coach and train station, as well as it only being 100 km from Santiago de Compostela, a necessary condition for the pilgrims to obtain the “Compostela” at the Pilgrim Office.
