Summer 2016, UK:
"The villa was amazing (just as it appears in the photos). All amenities were in easy walking distance. The local representatives were very helpful and resolved minor queries quickly. We felt the villa was good value for money given the quality of the accommodation when compared with villas in other parts of Spain or other countries. We thought Galicia was a very authentic and less touristy part of Spain. We were lucky with the weather - warm and sunny every day for two weeks (but not unbearably hot)."
Summer 2016, UK:
"Where do I start? We had an amazing holiday, organised through Galicia holiday by Patricia. The villa was exactly as it was shown in the photos, incredibly beautiful and stylish, with amazing views, in a fantastic location. We could walk to the supermarket in 5 minutes and to Praia America in ten minutes. Baiona was a few minutes drive, where we enjoyed amazing tapas and fish restaurants. The pool was incredibly clean (newly built) and fenced for child safety. When we arrived at the villa, we were met on arrival as we drove in by a Spanish lady who was available to us throughout our holiday, to answer any questions we had. Patricia also organised a Spanish lady to come and cook for our family a few evenings, and she was amazing! Lovely Spanish food, plenty of it, and my daughter really enjoyed cooking with her. Patricia also organised other events, such as scuba diving, surfing, and she organised and joined us for a day trip to the Cies Islands, which was the highlight of our holiday, so incredibly beautiful. Patricia chased the children as we climbed to see the views and lighthouse, told us about the history and facts we'd never have know if we went alone, and took us to a nice restaurant for lunch. Patricia made our holiday easy, organised and relaxing. We'll use Galicia holiday again next year!"
Summer 2016, UK:
"The Villa is both lovely inside and incredibly well positioned, with plenty of amenities for a large group. We really appreciated the very friendly welcome and communications we got throughout the stay. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday"
Summer 2016, UK:
"Great location with commanding views of the sea and a secluded pool. The house is the real star though with generous and stylish living space for a large (8 or 10 with children) family reunion / holiday"
Summer 2016, Belgium:
"We have stayed 2 weeks at this lovely place. Although we arrived late, we were hearthly welcomed. The villa was clean and has a stunning view on Baiona bay (the best view is from the tower). The swimming pool was new and we used it nearly every day. Places to visit: Baiona (on foot and bike), Santiago de Compostella and Porto. It was a relaxing holiday and we do thank Galicia Holiday for their professionalism"

"We had a wonderful holiday and the villa was stunningly beautiful. I would definitely want to stay there again and recommend it to others"
The coastline is formed by the Rias Baixas which are dotted with picturesque fishing villages and highly attractive towns such as Baiona (near the villa), Sanxenxo, O Grove and the Islands of Cíes and A Toja.
Pontevedra is a city with a passion for culture and tradition. In recent years it has become almost completely pedestrianised, perfect for taking a stroll to enjoy the beautiful parks and squares and the many bars and restaurants.
Cíes Islands are the Vigo estuary´s greatest treasure. An amazing National park internationally known for the most beautiful beach of the world: Rodas beach. The islands are full of unspoiled beaches with clear waters and spectacular sceneries such as the amazing cliffs that you can see from the lighthouse.
Sanxenxo and Portonovo has a young happening atmosphere with its busy beaches and modern bars.
O Grove is a pleasant fishing village with wide soft sandy beaches. Fresh seafood is a speciality here. O Grove is connected to the island of La Toja by a bridge. La Toja has a reputation for being exclusive and attracts wealthy residents and holiday makers alike. One of the main attractions here is the church which is completely covered in local sea shells.
The old quarter in Combarro has been declared Property of Cultural Interest. Combarro is famous for the crosses situated in the squares or crossroads, the figure of the Virgin Mary is usually facing the sea and Christ is facing the ground.
The long beautiful beaches of A Lanzada have fine sand and turquoise waters. Opposite the beach in the distance is the pretty Island of Ons, a popular destination for boat trips.
Within the province of Pontevedra there are many vineyards. The largest concentration of wineries is in Val do Salnes which surrounds the town of Cambados.
