Beautiful stone villa with a pool* that's just a short walking distance to the River Miño, close to the historical sites and medieval towns and just a mere 20 minutes drive to the stunning beaches of south Galicia.
The villa is nestling in a lovely hamlet less than 10 minutes drive to the historical town of Tui and the fort town of Valenca in north Portugal.
The villa has been beautifully restored and offers a high standard accommodation with large windows, a spacious living-dining area, fully equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms.
It is ideal for families with small children. You can be cooking some Spanish food or enjoying your "al fresco" dinners whilst watching your children play in the pool or in the garden.
You can enjoy a variety of relaxing walks from the house that lead through to the forests, including: the remains of an ancient fort, or one peaceful walk down by the riverside. And within a few minutes drive you can be bewildered by the atmosphere of the historical town of Tui with its beautiful cathedral, cobble stone streets, river, shops, tapas/bars and restaurants.

Located in a natural protected riverside area of pines and eucaliptus forest, natural walking tracks, fishing areas and fresh water river beaches.
Only 7 minutes drive away we found the historical town of Tui with its emblematic cathedral, fort, marina and the cobble stone strees that lead to the river. It is an attractive and bustling twon with great atmosphere, full of summer terraces, shops, restaurants and a variety of outdoor activities such concerts, open air cinemas, river cruises, kayak, water ski, etc.
The beaches of A Guarda are less than 20 minutes drive away and Baiona just about half an hour by car.

Pontevedra is a city with a passion for culture and tradition. In recent years it has become almost completely pedestrianised, perfect for taking a stroll to enjoy the beautiful parks and squares and the many bars and restaurants.
There are many traditional festivals and carnivals throughout the year which fill the streets and squares with joyful music and colour. It has the only bull fighting ring in Galicia and its museum is one of the largest in the region.
The coastline is formed by the Rias Baixas which are dotted with picturesque fishing villages and highly attractive towns such as Sanxenxo, O Grove and the Island of A Toja.
Sanxenxo and Portonovo has a young happening atmosphere with its busy beaches and modern bars.
O Grove is a pleasant fishing village with wide soft sandy beaches. Fresh seafood is a speciality here. O Grove is connected to the island of La Toja by a bridge. La Toja has a reputation for being exclusive and attracts wealthy residents and holiday makers alike. One of the main attractions here is the church which is completely covered in local sea shells.
The old quarter in Combarro has been declared Property of Cultural Interest. Combarro is famous for the crosses situated in the squares or crossroads, the figure of the Virgin Mary is usually facing the sea and Christ is facing the ground.
The long beautiful beaches of A Lanzada have fine sand and turquoise waters. Opposite the beach in the distance is the pretty Island of Ons, a popular destination for boat trips.
Within the province of Pontevedra there are many vineyards. The largest concentration of wineries is in Val do Salnes which surrounds the town of Combados.
