It is close to Tomiño town centre and neighbours Portugal. This is a great location and is near to the stunning white sandy beaches, historial monument and medieval towns.

The Villa itself is a superb 4 bedroom villa with a lovely garden and a fantastic swimming pool. It has a rustic / antique style decor and offers excellent comfort for a memorable Galician holiday.

The villa is divided up by 3 floors. The ground floor offers a large living - dining room with a great open stone fireplace as well as a library. We also find the fully equipped kitchen, one complete bathroom and the entrance hall with direct access to a beautiful terrace with amazing views. This is the ideal place to enjoy outdoor family summer dinners around a large wooden table whilst enjoying the glorious views.

On the first floor we find 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. In the basement, at garden level, there is one double bedroom, a shower room and toilet, a gym, a living - TV room and the utility room.

The villa has a good layout with 2 entrances and is very practical for families with children. The basement TV - living room is greatly appreciated by children as they can enjoy their independence playing or watching TV downstairs while the adults relax upstairs.

The garden is very well looked after as is the lovely pool and relaxing chill out area. The whole property is private and walled around for your further peace of mind.

The area is very popular due to its beauty but also the microclimate. With easy access to the beaches and historical sites such as; the medieval towns of Tui, Valenca (Portugal) and the stunning beaches of A Guarda, Baiona, Playa America, and the celtic settlement of A Guarda, you'll find plenty to enjoy.

Not too far from the coast and right next to the mountains and vineyards you'll also find this is where the finest Spanish white wines are produced in Southern Galicia.

Area Info

Fifteen km along the River Miño Valley stands the ancient Celtic settlement of Santa Tegra overlooking the small fishing port of La Guardia at the mouth of the Atlantic. There are numerous beaches to swim, sunbathe and explore as well as many rocky coves along the unspoiled coastline.

At the southernmost point of the Galicia near the coast and on the border with neighboring Portugal, is the region of Tomiño. Its magnificent location allows you to enjoy all the advantages conferred by the confluence of maritime, ocean, mountain, and river environments. The Miño estuary is fundamental to this natural setting; its great ecological richness, and most especially its bird population, has caused many biologists to think of it as the Doñana of Galicia.

Tomiño itself is a thriving market town close to the river Miño (border with Portugal) and to the sea port of A Guarda which is the centre for fishing and seafood.
There are numerous restaurants preparing traditional fare and serving excellent local wines e.g. the famous Albariño. The area is hilly including the spectacular Monte Tecla with its unique historic Celtic settlement and panoramic viewsof the Atlantic coast.

The town of Tomiño is well served with supermarkets, a variety of shops, fresh produce/fish market, medical centre, restaurants, cafes, banks, schools, etc.
There are many historical sites within easy reach including the ancient cathedral of Tui and the fort-hill towns of Valenca and Vilanova in Portugal. Mount Santa Tegra
